Invitation & Procedure

The Province wishes to invite proposals from suitably interested parties (IP’s) regarding the subject lands.

Nevertheless, acting prudently it cannot be assumed that suitable partnerships will be available, at all, or on appropriate terms and the Province must manage its affairs appropriately. Therefore, the search for suitable IPs will include others who may look at novel or alternative proposals to realise the Province’s Vision.

Procedure

The following prescribed procedure must be adhered to in responding to this RFPP at the appropriate time as advised by WKN Real Estate Advisors.
Completion of a Non-Disclosure Agreement is a prerequisite for access to the Data Room.
Relevant milestones and their respective deadlines are outlined in the RFPP and subject further advice. It is the IPs responsibility to ensure that it complies with any communicated deadlines to make a valid submission. Please contact kohiggins@wkn.ie for any clarifications in this regard.
All queries in respect of this RFPP must be submitted in writing to kohiggins@wkn.ie no later than the deadline date for queries, to be communicated in due course. Responses will be circulated via the Data Room and it will be open to all IP’s to review queries and responses.

Completed Partnership Proposals should be submitted in softcopy to kohiggins@wkn.ie before the deadline (when communicated).

Once received the Partnership Proposal will be reviewed under the headings outlined in Section 8 following which shortlisted IP’s will be invited for interview. All submissions/ correspondence regarding this matter will be treated confidentially, other than formal queries submitted by IP’s and responses to same circulated via the Data Room. Any subsequent engagement will be subject to the same NDA .

Neither the Province nor WKN Real Estate Advisors will be liable for any costs incurred by an IP in the preparation of the RFPP or any associated work or engagement. It is the responsibility of the IP to ensure that they are fully aware of, and understand the requirements as laid down in, the RFPP.

The Province reserves the right to discontinue this process at any time, for any reason. The Province will have no obligation to divulge a reason. The Province also reserves the right not to appoint a preferred partner at the conclusion of the contract negotiation stage.
Detailed discussions will be held, on an individual basis, with shortlisted IPs.
Additional information may be uploaded to the Data Room from time to time, during the RFPP process. It is the IP’s responsibility to check the Data Room intermittently during the RFPP process. Neither the Province nor WKN Real Estate Advisors will be held responsible for the notification of additional information to IPs, once uploaded to the Data Room.
