DLRCC County Development Plan 2022 – 2028
DLRCC say that in recognition of the important supporting role played by social, educational, community, cultural and civic infrastructure, the DLR Development Plan 2022-2028 introduced a new ‘Sustainable Neighbourhood Infrastructure’ (SNI) land use zoning objective on institutional lands in the county. This Objective is described ‘To protect, improve and encourage the provision of sustainable neighbourhood infrastructure’.
This designation identifies existing facilities and services considered by the Council to be central to sustaining and building neighbourhoods. The uses permitted within such a designation are set out in the matrix of permitted uses as set out in Table 13.1.7 in the Written Statement of the Development Plan.
